Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an attentive retail associate to help open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash, and ensure readiness for the business day. You will assist with vendor deliveries, manage pricing signage, and support inventory accuracy while delivering a welcoming customer experience.

You will greet customers, help with product questions, and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and required systems start-ups.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Manages inventory and pricing signage to support accurate pricing and stock levels.
• Assists with vendor deliveries and backdoor access for deliveries.
• Registers sales, records scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Assists with displays, resets, and promotional merchandising.
• Maintains store cleanliness and orderly appearance; supports housekeeping and repairs as needed.
• Reports issues to management and acts as liaison when store management is not present.
