Job summary

Walgreens seeks a capable associate to open and close the store in the absence of store management, handle cash, start up systems, and prepare floor and stock room for business day. You will engage with customers, resolve questions, maintain accurate inventory, assist with vendor deliveries, pricing, and upkeep of displays while upholding Walgreens service standards.

You will also complete returns, refunds, cash drops, and help with price changes and compliance tasks.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
• Arrest and conviction records may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provides change as requested.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Greet and assist customers, resolve questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist with inventory, pricing, displays, and stock room organization, including backroom deliveries.
• Maintain accurate sales records, price changes, and signage in compliance with local rules.
