Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and start-up tasks.
• Completes cash handling: refunds, drops to the safe, and price verifications.
• Maintains store inventory accuracy and stockroom organization.
• Coaches team on vendor orders and backdoor deliveries.
• Delivers friendly, proactive customer service and helps customers with products.
• Manages price signage and basic department pricing in compliance with policies.
• Assists with displays, resets, and promotional setups.
• Supports bookkeeping tasks as requested.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws for regulated products.
• Keeps store clean and orderly; handles maintenance requests.
• Acts as liaison when management absent; communicates tasks.
