Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a capable team member to support store opening and closing in the absence of management. You will handle cash, assist with deliveries, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, and model Walgreens service habits to provide a distinctive shopping experience while maintaining accurate pricing and inventory displays.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Processes refunds, voids, cash drops, and provides change to registers.
• Engages customers to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assists with vendor deliveries and backdoor access for deliveries.
• Manages inventory counts and displays, pricing, and signage as required by policies.
• Maintains store cleanliness and order, including front and back-of-house areas.
• Supports pharmacy window operations as requested and ensures compliance with local laws for regulated products.
