Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store team member to support opening and closing duties in the absence of store management. You will handle cash, assist with deliveries, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business, while delivering a distinctive Walgreens customer experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, resolving inquiries, coaching peers on service standards, managing inventory, and supporting displays, pricing, and regulatory small-steps.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops, and provides change at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting and assisting with products and services; resolves issues for a positive experience.
• Coaches team members on customer service best practices to deliver Walgreens service traits.
• Hold store keys to open/close, assist with vendor deliveries, register sales and price changes, and maintain pricing signage.
• Assist with inventory accuracy across departments and stockroom; support displays and resets.
• Ensure compliance with state/local laws on regulated products; manage bag checks and store maintenance tasks.
• Communicate tasks to team members when management is absent and report issues to management.
• Attend training as requested by Manager.
