Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a hands-on store operations professional in California to open/close the store when management is unavailable, handle cash and backroom tasks, and ensure the floor and stockroom readiness for the business day.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, and model Walgreens service standards while supporting inventory, pricing, and displays. This role requires leadership experience and English fluency.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and handles required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, refunds, and cash handling; ensures floor and stock room are ready for business.
