Job summary

Walgreens in Marion, IA seeks a capable team member to open/close the store in management's absence, handle cash tasks, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business. You will assist customers, manage returns and refunds, and uphold Walgreens service standards to deliver a memorable shopping experience.

You will support store operations, supervise teammates, and help maintain accurate pricing, signage, and compliance with store policies.

Qualifications

One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start-ups and cash handling.
Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
Responsible for holding store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
Assists with and coaches other team members in handling vendor deliveries and stock organization.
Registers all related sales and maintains pricing and signage in compliance with policies.
