Job summary

Walgreens in Illinois is seeking a store associate who can open and close the store in the absence of management, perform system start-ups, handle cash, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. You may also open the back door for deliveries and assist customers with product needs.

You will help maintain pricing, support inventory accuracy, and provide a proactive, friendly customer experience while following store policies.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Preferred knowledge of store inventory control.
• We will consider applicants with arrest and conviction records.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management.
• Completes cash handling and refunds as needed.
• Delivers a distinctive customer experience.
• Coaches team members on processes and displays and supports inventory control.
• Maintains accurate pricing and signage; assists with backroom and stock organization.
