Job summary

Walgreens is hiring to join our team as a store associate. You will open and close the store in the absence of management, handle required systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.

You will assist with deliveries through the back door and support daily operations. Engage customers, resolve issues, and provide guidance on products and services while maintaining inventory accuracy and pricing signage.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to handle cash and operate store systems.
• Knowledge of store inventory control (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups and cash handling.
• Process returns, refunds, cash drops, and provide change at registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access.
• Maintain accurate inventory and price signage according to policies.
• Support pharmacy operations and general store maintenance when needed.
