Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Associate to join our Illinois store in Westmont. You will open and close the store in the absence of management, handle required systems startup and cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business.

You will also manage back door deliveries and cash drops at the safe. You will engage customers with friendly service, resolve questions, and support product placement, pricing, and displays.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store when management is unavailable, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Process returns, refunds, cash drops, and provide change at registers.
• Deliver a distinctive customer experience and assist with product placement, pricing, and stock organization.
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and share best practices to ensure a positive store experience.
• Support operations by managing vendor deliveries, inventory counts, and displays; assist with maintenance and cleanliness.
• Assist with training, communications, and reporting concerns to management.
