Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a proactive team member to support store operations in Illinois. The role involves opening/closing the store in the absence of management, handling cash and vendor deliveries, and ensuring the floor and stockroom are prepared for the business day.

You will also manage returns, refunds, and price changes while delivering a distinctive Walgreens customer experience. Engage customers, assist with products and services, and model best practices for service.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership or supervisory experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store when management is absent, including cash handling and ensuring floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provide change for registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members to deliver Walgreens service traits.
• Hold store keys to open/close without management when needed and assist with vendor deliveries via backdoor access.
• Register all sales accurately, track scanning errors, price verifications, and price changes; handle voids as needed.
• Review order exceptions and assist in reverse logistics; support displays and merchandising revisions.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts across departments and stockroom; ensure proper pricing and signage.
