Job summary

Walgreens is hiring for a key holder to open and close the store when management is absent, manage cash and transactions, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business. You will engage customers, resolve issues, and model Walgreens service standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with vendor deliveries, pricing signage, inventory accuracy, and basic department maintenance while upholding store policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Arrest and conviction records may be considered.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and ensuring floor and stock room readiness.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provide change to registers.
• Engage customers and patients to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Hold store keys to open/close without management; assist with vendor deliveries through backdoor.
• Register all related sales, including scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Support displays, pricing, and signage; manage basic department pricing and postings.
• Assist with inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and backroom organization.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance and housekeeping of the store.
