Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated team member to open and close the store in the absence of management, perform cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.

You will engage customers, handle returns and refunds, maintain accurate inventory and pricing, and support backroom operations and vendor deliveries to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management with required system start-ups.
• Handles cash, refunds, voids, and cash drops to the safe for registers.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers, greets, and assists with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and price changes per local regulations.
