Job summary

Walgreens in Minnesota is seeking a store associate/leadership role to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash operations, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business. The role requires at least one year of leadership or retail key holder experience and fluency in English; PTCB certification or pharmacy licensing may be preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is preferred.
• Arrest and conviction records may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, greets them, assists with products and services, and resolves issues.
• Supports store operations, pricing accuracy, inventory counts, and backroom readiness.
• Assists with pharmacy out window as requested.
