Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate to support daily operations, customer service, and retail processes. The role emphasizes opening/closing duties, cash handling, and ensuring a clean, well-organized sales floor and stockroom.

You will engage customers, assist with purchases, and uphold Walgreens service standards. Candidates should have at least one year of leadership or retail experience, be fluent in English, and possess or be able to obtain a PTCB certification or pharmacy license as

Qualifications

One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start-ups and cash handling.
Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provides change to registers.
Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
Maintains accurate inventory counts and registers, and assists with vendor deliveries.
