Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a store team member who can open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and assist with deliveries, while keeping floor and stock ready for business.

You will ensure proper cash handling, pricing, and compliance with local regulations. You will greet customers, resolve issues, coach other team members, manage inventory counts, and support pharmacy out window as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and handles required cash handling.
• Completes cash drops, returns, refunds, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers, assists with products/services, and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and pricing signage; assists with backroom and stockroom tasks.
