Job summary

Story Cannabis Co is seeking a Shift Lead to guide daily store operations and deliver standout customer experiences. You will supervise staff, oversee transactions, maintain store standards, and ensure compliance with procedures while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of supervisory experience in retail or cannabis, strong communication, POS proficiency, and a commitment to safe, responsible service.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a retail, hospitality, or cannabis environment.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Marijuana knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be over 21 years of age.
• Can legally work in the United States - all documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for questions or issues from staff and customers.
• Oversee onboarding for all new retail associates.
• Assist with tracking of daily and monthly inventory.
• Assist with restocking the sales floor with cannabis and non-cannabis products.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Assist the Management team.
• Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards.
• Develop and maintain rapport with our customers, vendors, service providers and staff.
• Explain the effects of different types of cannabis to customers and patients clearly and effectively.
