Job summary

Story Cannabis Co. is seeking a Shift Lead to guide daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will mentor the retail team, supervise transactions and compliance, and uphold store standards to create a smooth operation.

You will also build rapport with customers and vendors while ensuring accurate product recommendations. The role emphasizes strong customer service, team leadership, and product knowledge of cannabis, with responsibilities spanning opening/closing, inventory

Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in retail, hospitality, or cannabis.
Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications.
Marijuana knowledge strongly preferred.
Must be over 21 and allowed to work in the United States.
Valid State ID or U.S. Passport and reliable transportation.
No scheduling restrictions; pre-employment background checks required.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations and ensure positive guest experiences.
Coach retail team and maintain store standards.
Oversee transactions, compliance, and inventory processes.
Support management and ensure timely customer service.
Explain cannabis products clearly to customers and patients.
Maintain store cleanliness and proper product displays.
Protect company assets and uphold HIPAA-related confidentiality where applicable.
