Job summary

Bonrue Bakery in Spanish Fork seeks a Shift Lead to manage store operations with the team, ensuring smooth service from opening to close. You will coach staff, maintain brand standards, and handle shift-level decisions while keeping the guest experience high. The role requires 1–2 years in food service, strong leadership, and comfort with money handling.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of food service or hospitality experience.
• Strong leadership and direction under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with money handling and shift reporting.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work in fast-paced settings.
• Must be at least 18 years old; available for early mornings, weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations during opening, mid, or closing shifts.
• Oversee cleanliness including dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, etc.
• Support and direct FOH and BOH teams in real time.
• Monitor product quality, speed of service, and guest experience.
• Delegate tasks during service and keep team energy high.
• Perform accurate cash drawer counts and support end-of-day financial procedures.
• Execute shift checklists, oversee cleanliness, and ensure prep completion.
• Assist in training new team members and reinforce brand expectations.
• Communicate wins, challenges, and team needs to the General Manager.
• Handle shift-level decisions including guest recovery, break coverage, and role adjustments.
• Maintain pace, presence, and professionalism from start to finish.
