Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Supervisors in sales, customer service, store appearance, and daily operations. The role may involve shift management in the absence of leadership. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The position requires strong communication skills and experience in retail, preferably in auto parts, with knowledge of automotive systems. ASE and RSS certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts preferred.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge beneficial.
• ASE Certification preferred for applicants.
• Fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Oversee operations, phone handling, transfers, and order processing.
• Ensure returns, refunds, and exchanges are handled efficiently and accurately.
• Manage daily opening/closing duties, cash handling, and security procedures.
• Delegate merchandising and ensure adherence to work schedules.
