Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain food safety and brand standards.

You will train new team members, manage cash handling, and support daily operations across travel plazas. The role offers opportunities to contribute to a fast-paced, service-oriented environment with flexible scheduling and positive team dynamics.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and handle payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain product knowledge and assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.
