Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead a team on shift, ensure top-notch customer service, and uphold food safety standards. You will train new team members and enforce cash handling procedures while maintaining brand compliance.

The role requires flexibility across days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to develop leadership skills in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS and process payments according to policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, packaging, dating, stocking and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prep, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products and maintain product knowledge.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and safety policies.
• Report observations or issues to plaza leadership.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
