Job summary

Five Guys Operations LLC in Houston is seeking a Shift Leader who will lead by example on busy shifts, run operations when management isn’t on site, and coach crew to deliver fast, accurate service.

You’ll train new team members, maintain brand standards, manage breaks and cash handling, and foster a positive, team‑driven culture. This position offers real growth opportunities toward Assistant and General Manager roles, with pay starting at $14.50/hour plus tips and bonus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant/retail/hospitality experience, leadership preferred.
• Team‑first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Leads by doing, not just directing.
• Keeps cool and makes decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience.
