Job summary

Five Guys Operations LLC is hiring a Shift Leader in Georgetown, TX. Starting pay is $14.50 per hour plus tips and bonus, with opportunities to grow into higher roles.

The Shift Leader will be hands-on, lead by example, and set the tone for each shift—guiding crew, managing tasks, and ensuring excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork are required to keep operations smooth, maintain brand standards, and train new team members daily.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• A team-first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Leads by doing, not just directing.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
