Urbane Cafe is seeking an Amazing Shift Leader to set the tone, lead by example, and ensure guests feel they belong. You will manage breaks, delegate tasks, and motivate a team to perform at their best in a fast-paced California setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Great communication and people skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs.

Our Story

Urbane Cafe is a family-owned company founded by Tom Holt, with locations across Southern California and Nevada — and more on the way. Every day, we make our focaccia dough from scratch and bake it fresh in open-hearth ovens, right in front of our guests. We craft gourmet sandwiches, farm fresh salads and unique bowls using refined local ingredients — all served with a smile in a warm, vibrant atmosphere.

Requirements

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written – Bilingual a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in service and food, generally involving at least one year of front-of-the house operations leadership
• Possess excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate a POS system.
• Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
