Job summary

Urbane Cafe is seeking Amazing Shift Leaders to set the tone, lead by example and ensure every guest feels belonging. You will welcome guests, model Urbane Cafe values and keep operations running smoothly across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication and people skills are essential.
• Basic math skills required; ability to use a POS system.

Our Story

Urbane Cafe is a family-owned company founded by Tom Holt, with locations across Southern California and Nevada — and more on the way. Every day, we make our focaccia dough from scratch and bake it fresh in open-hearth ovens, right in front of our guests. Requirements

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written – Bilingual a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in service and food, generally involving at least one year of front-of-the house operations leadership
• Possess excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate a POS system.
• Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
