Job summary

Urbane Cafe is seeking a Shift Leader to provide warm, guest-focused service and lead daily operations. You will guide a team, ensure smooth shifts, and uphold our values of quality and hospitality.

The role requires strong communication, basic math, and the ability to manage breaks and tasks efficiently. A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to grow with the company are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Basic math proficiency for transactions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 35 lbs.

Urbane Cafe is a family-owned company founded by Tom Holt, with locations across Southern California and Nevada — and more on the way. Every day, we make our focaccia dough from scratch and bake it fresh in open-hearth ovens, right in front of our guests. Requirements

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written – Bilingual a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in service and food, generally involving at least one year of front-of-the house operations leadership
• Possess excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate a POS system.
• Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
