Urbane Cafe is hiring a shift leader in Oceanside, CA to set the tone on every shift and coach the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will lead by example, ensure smooth operations, and uphold the brand values while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, basic math skills, and the ability to stand for long periods. Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus; compensation includes tips and benefits.

Formación

• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Experience operating a POS system is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Urbane Cafe is a family-owned company founded by Tom Holt, with locations across Southern California and Nevada — and more on the way. Every day, we make our focaccia dough from scratch and bake it fresh in open-hearth ovens, right in front of our guests. Requirements

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written – Bilingual a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in service and food, generally involving at least one year of front-of-the house operations leadership
• Possess excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate a POS system.
• Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
