Job summary

Urbane Cafe is hiring friendly cashiers to provide a welcoming guest experience at our Los Angeles-area cafes. You will greet guests, take orders, answer questions, and handle transactions with accuracy.

We offer flexible shifts, on-demand pay, and a range of benefits for full-time team members, including health and retirement options. Prior cashier experience is a plus, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Friendly, upbeat personality and strong guest interaction skills.
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and card transactions.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English; bilingual is a plus.
• Prior cashier or guest service experience is helpful but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, genuine smile and set a welcoming tone.
• Take orders accurately at the register and at the counter.
• Answer menu questions and help guests choose items they’ll love.
• Handle transactions with care and accuracy.
• Keep station clean, organized and guest-ready at all times.
