Job summary

Urbane Cafe Operations LLC in California is seeking a motivated Shift Leader to set the tone on every shift. You will welcome guests, lead by example, and ensure smooth operations with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

You will manage breaks, delegate tasks, and uphold our values of dignity and respect. The role offers competitive hourly pay with tips, flexible scheduling, and a path for growth within a growing family-owned cafe.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in service and food with front-of-house leadership is preferred.

Our Story

Urbane Cafe is a family-owned company founded by Tom Holt, with locations across Southern California and Nevada — and more on the way. Every day, we make our focaccia dough from scratch and bake it fresh in open-hearth ovens, right in front of our guests. Requirements

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written – Bilingual a plus


• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Experience in service and food, generally involving at least one year of front-of-the house operations leadership


• Possess excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate a POS system.


• Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time


• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
