Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is hiring a Shift Supervisor in Conroe, TX. You will lead restaurant operations during shifts, train new hires, and uphold MOD’s standards to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

You may be the senior squad member on duty, guiding the team and ensuring smooth operations while modeling MOD’s values. You will supervise deployment, handling cash, inventory, and compliance with safety standards, while supporting management in achieving store goals and maintaining a welcoming

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Experience mentoring, training, or leading others.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to follow and enforce processes, coach compassionately.
• You must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Availability to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift by ensuring the right squad member is in the right place and doing the right work.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new program rollouts and initiatives.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals including online ordering and catering.
• Ensure food safety standards in Back of House and Front of House using MOD tools.
• Listen to and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift including handling change and refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Follow opening/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements on time.
• Stay informed via email about information from the Slice and other sources for the squad.
