Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Bakery Manager to work with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver the highest-quality cakes, a welcoming environment, and superior guest experience. This role partners with the Bakery Manager to drive sales, profitability, and ensure NbC standards are met across bakery operations.

The Shift Bakery Manager leads guest engagement, cake production, merchandising, scheduling, and payroll, while maintaining NbC culture and ensuring food safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college or further education is a plus.
• 1–3 years of guest-facing experience in retail/food service, with progressive responsibilities.
• Proven ability to coach others, train new team members and drive productivity.
• Basic proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable with new tech.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize guest experience and model superior guest engagement.
• Partner with Bakery Manager to lead guest experience, cake production, brand and inventory.
• Recruit, train, and coach team members; provide performance feedback.
• Ensure product, service, environment and safety standards are upheld.
• Support operational and administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll and reporting.
• Co-manage special-order fulfillment for individuals and corporate accounts.
• Co-facilitate opening/closing bakery, cash drawer balancing and deposits.
• Contribute to local marketing events and brand-building activities.
• Maintain hands-on knowledge of all bakery roles to cover tasks as needed.
