Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Bakery Manager to work with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver exceptional guest experience and high-quality cakes.

You will help lead daily operations, scheduling, training, store presentation, inventory, and sales performance while upholding NbC standards and brand culture.

This on-site role requires flexibility for varied shifts and a passion for hospitality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1–3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service, preferably in a lead role.
• Demonstrated success coaching others, training new team members and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes guest experience and models superior guest engagement.
• Partners with Bakery Manager in leading guest experience, cake production, brand and merchandising.
• Supports recruiting, training, directing daily work, and providing feedback.
• Ensures standards, safety, and NbC policies are upheld in all operations.
• Assists with scheduling, supply orders, payroll processing, and cost controls.
• Co-manages special-order fulfillment for individuals and corporate accounts.
• Co-facilitates bakery opening/closing, cash handling and deposits.
• Contributes to local marketing events and brand-building activities.
• Maintains hands-on knowledge of all bakery roles and procedures.
