Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Katy, TX is seeking a Shift Bakery Manager to work alongside the Bakery Manager and lead a team in producing high-quality cakes and delivering a warm guest experience.

You will help manage cake production, scheduling, inventory, and training, while upholding NbC standards, safety, and brand presentation. This role acts as a conduit of NbC culture and offers growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1–3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven success coaching others, training new team members, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize guest experience and model superior guest engagement.
• Partner with Bakery Manager in guest experience, cake production, brand presentation, and inventory control.
• Assist in recruiting, training, directing daily work, and providing feedback.
• Ensure standards for product, service, bakery environment, safety, and NbC policies.
• Assist with operations including scheduling, supply ordering, payroll, and reporting.
• Co-manage special-order fulfillment for individuals and corporate accounts, including large orders.
• Co-facilitate opening/closing with cash handling and banking deposits.
• Contribute to local marketing events and maintain knowledge of all bakery roles.
