Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes Prosper, TX seeks an Assistant Bakery Manager to work with the Bakery Operator and team to deliver high-quality cakes and a warm, welcoming guest experience.

You will share in leadership, drive sales and profitability, ensure NbC standards, and reinforce brand values while supporting team development. This role requires hands-on bakery operation knowledge and a commitment to food safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail/foodservice, preferably in a lead role.
• Valid driver’s license required due to driving responsibilities.
• Foodservice safety training certificate (or required to obtain within 30 days).
• Demonstrated success coaching others, directing work and achieving productivity goals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new tools.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes guest experience and models superior guest engagement.
• Leads guest experience, cake production, merchandising and inventory control with the Bakery Operator.
• Assists in recruiting, training, directing daily work, and providing coaching.
• Ensures product, service, environment and safety standards meet NbC policies.
• Supports operational/admin tasks including planning, scheduling, ordering, and payroll processing.
• Co-manages special-order fulfillment for individuals and corporate accounts.
