Volunteers of America Northern California and Northern Nevada is seeking a full-time overnight Support Staff member for the Meadowview Navigation Center in Sacramento. The role focuses on safe, compassionate interaction with women experiencing homelessness, facilitating meals, maintaining security, and ensuring a trauma-informed environment.

The position requires working 1000 PM to 630 AM, including weekends, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to contribute to community

Formación

• Requires ability to communicate and comprehend oral and written instructions.
• Experience working with homeless populations or similar settings is preferred.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including overnights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Provide awake shift coverage and maintain grounds, safety, and order at all times.
• Coordinate meal preparation and daily routines for guests.
• Document and report guest concerns and incidents to management and Case Management.
• Assist in housekeeping and basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Use de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts and ensure safety.
