Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory's Bell Shelter seeks a Shelter Programs Manager to lead Low barrier and Shelter Interim Housing programs, supervise Case Managers, and ensure grant compliance across LAHSA, DMH, and city funders. The role emphasizes trauma-informed service delivery and program quality.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, maintain participant files, coordinate audits, and provide training, reporting, and advocacy for benefits.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Social Work or related field; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with homelessness, mental health, and related services.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid certificates prior to hire.
• TB clearance prior to hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Shelter Programs Case Managers across funding sources.
• Oversee intake, documentation, and participant files for compliance.
• Ensure HMIS data quality and timely funder reporting.
• Support program audits and ensure contract standards are met.
• Lead staff meetings and deliver QA/improvement trainings.
