Job summary

HELP USA is seeking a Residential Aide to support single adults in a shelter setting at Franklin, Bronx. You will help safeguard clients and the facility, coordinate with the Social Services Team, and ensure smooth shift operations.

Responsibilities include intake, safety patrols, inventory control, bed/meal counts, and using the DHS CARES system to track client activity, with a focus on communication and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake/orientation for clients.
• Conduct site patrols to ensure safety and rule compliance.
• Inventory and secure clients' possessions when away from site.
• Assist with bed/meal counts and locker searches.
• Use DHS CARES system to track client status and rosters.
• Escort clients to meetings and appointments as needed.
• Document incidents and shift notes.
