Children’s Rescue Fund in Bronx, NY seeks a Residential Aide (Poplar) who will provide direct support and care to shelter clients under supervision. The role requires attention to daily logs, intake processes, meal distribution, and ensuring safety and order within the facility.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Shift Supervisor, handling DHS guidelines for food distribution, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; comfortable learning new databases.

Responsabilités

• Complete new resident intake packets, logs and daily occupancy forms.
• Use CARES system to complete intake check-in and discharge conditional intake.
• Monitor attendance roaster and incident reports.
• Receive deliveries and verify items with receipts.
• Distribute meals and ensure proper food handling per guidelines.
• Escort residents and assist with room transfers and access to rooms.
