Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand our client base in the greater San Francisco market. You will collaborate with our Technologies and Operations teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs and win high-value projects.

Responsibilities include presenting our strengthening capabilities to potential clients, managing relationships, pursuing leads from Marketing, drafting proposals, and maintaining up-to-date CRM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience building relationships and expanding a client base in the commercial market.
• Strong knowledge of the San Francisco market.
• Track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals using a CRM.
• Willingness to travel 70–80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Support sales functions on high-value projects and client relationships.
• After training, give presentations to potential clients on strengthening solutions.
• Participate in web-based meetings, in-person meetings, emails, and calls with current and potential clients.
• Follow up on leads provided by Marketing.
• Assist with drafts of proposals for Strengthening projects and revisions.
• Assist with assembling bid packages for Strengthening projects as necessary.
• Attend jobsite walks and pre-bid meetings as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date CRM listings for Strengthening projects.
• Update company contact databases with new contacts from presentations and events.
