Job summary

PULLMAN, a Structural Group Company, is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow and strengthen relationships with owners, engineers, and general contractors in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. You will present solutions, respond to proposals, and drive strategic sales initiatives across commercial markets.

The role requires 5+ years in sales within the commercial construction sector, knowledge of the SF Bay Area market, and ability to travel frequently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the commercial market
• Prefer selling specialty construction services to commercial clients
• Strong knowledge of SF Bay Area construction market
• Track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals using a CRM
• Solid understanding of the sales process from opportunity to close
• Prior construction/restoration experience preferred
• Local travel 70-80%

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with owners, engineers, and general contractors
• Participate in sales meetings, calls, seminars, lunch & learns, trade shows, and other sales initiatives
• Proactively manage accounts and grow the company's business with them
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals set by management
• Create, present, or respond to proposals for client-specific requirements
• Manage sales process for projects with varying complexity and contract values
