Job summary

Tstrata Strengthening Solutions, a Structural Group Company, seeks an experienced Technical Business Development Manager to cultivate relationships with the Northern California structural engineering community from our San Francisco area office in Benicia, CA. You will work with our engineering and construction groups to deliver solutions that meet demanding project needs.

The ideal candidate has a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, CA PE license preferred, and at least five years in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; PE license in CA preferred.
• Strong communication and public speaking/presentation skills.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering, construction and/or technical sales experience.
• Experience with the structural engineering community and general contracting firms.
• Knowledge of the San Francisco market and local engineering firms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen client relationships throughout Northern California.
• Deliver engineering training presentations to clients and industry groups.
• Support engineers and contractors with design and technical details.
• Maintain CRM pipeline and update contact database with new leads.
• Travel up to 50% to meet clients and attend meetings.
