KaylaTek, Inc. is seeking an experienced ServiceNow SAM Developer to join the Strategic Operations Project Team, transitioning AFDW ITSM BMC Helix to ServiceNow. The role is 100% on site at Joint Base Andrews, MD, with ad-hoc telework.

Required certifications include ServiceNow System Administrator or Developer, with CIS ITSM preferred. Active DoD Secret clearance is required. The position focuses on SAM/ITAM, platform development, data management, and governance to deliver enterprise asset

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or a Masters degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of ServiceNow development and scripting experience (JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, XML), with deep proficiency in Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and API integrations.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, required.
• Advanced ServiceNow Certifications: Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, preferred.
• Strong expertise in ITAM (SAM/HAM) and ITOM (CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping) modules.
• Proven experience in large-scale ServiceNow implementations and platform governance.

Responsibilities

• SAM & ITAM Module Engineering: Build, configure, and maintain ServiceNow SAM Pro, SaaS Management, and related HAM Pro integrations.
• License & Compliance Operations: Implement and maintain software entitlement models, license metrics, normalization rules, and automated reconciliation engines.
• Lifecycle Automation: Design end-to-end asset lifecycle automations using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Scoped Applications.
• Platform Development & Customization: Design, code, debug, test, document, and deploy scalable solutions across the ServiceNow platform.
• Core Scripting & Logic: Implement clean, maintainable logic using Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, and Service Portal widgets.
• Data Architecture: Optimize ServiceNow data models, CMDB relationships, and asset table schemas for performance and integrity.
• Integrations, Data Management & Reporting: Data ingestion, mapping, and dashboards; executive compliance reports and audit reports.
• Release, Maintenance & Governance: Deploy updates, migrations, upgrades, testing, and ATF validations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement: Translate licensing rules with ITAM teams; create runbooks and knowledge bases; mentor teammates.
