Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow SAM Developer to support the Air Force District of Washington ITSM modernization at Joint Base Andrews, MD. The role is onsite, full-time, with responsibilities spanning SAM Pro, SaaS Management, HAM, and CMDB optimization.

You will design, code, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions, implement license metrics, and automate asset lifecycle workflows. A Secret Clearance and 6+ years in software development are required, with strong ServiceNow

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience with 4+ years in development.
• 8+ years of relevant experience preferred, or Master’s with 6+ years.
• 4+ years hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, XML, and ServiceNow scripting.
• Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOA integrations, and API development.
• Experience with SAM Pro, SaaS Management, ITAM, HAM Pro capabilities.
• Solid CMDB, software licensing, and IT asset lifecycle understanding.
• Agile methodology experience and ServiceNow best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain ServiceNow SAM Pro, SaaS Management, and HAM integrations.
• Implement license metrics, entitlement models, and reconciliation processes.
• Develop automation workflows for software requests, allocations, renewals, and retirement.
• Code, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions including scripts and UI components.
• Optimize CMDB relationships and asset management architecture.
• Execute data imports, transform maps, and enterprise integrations.
• Create dashboards and reports for software licensing and asset utilization.
• Prepare technical designs and migrate updates across environments.
• Perform unit testing, patch validation, and ATF testing.
• Leverage Now AI capabilities to improve efficiency and UX.
• Mentor teammates and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
