Job summary

The State Corporation Commission in Virginia seeks a ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and enhance scalable solutions across the ServiceNow platform, with emphasis on secure API integrations and ITSM.

You will develop scripted REST APIs, business rules, and UI policies, extend ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB), and create intuitive experiences across Employee Center, Service Portal, and mobile.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of ServiceNow development and configuration experience.
• Strong JavaScript scripting (client/server) experience.
• Experience with API integration design and security.
• Familiarity with CMDB, ITSM modules.
• Ability to design user-centered experiences across Service Portal and Employee Center.
• Experience with AI/automation features in ServiceNow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow apps.
• Build secure integrations using REST, SOAP, webhooks.
• Develop scripted REST APIs, business rules, and UI policies.
• Extend ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB.
• Create intuitive experiences across Employee Center and Service Portal.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
