Job summary

DataSoft Technologies in Richmond, VA seeks an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and enhance scalable ServiceNow solutions. The role focuses on secure API integrations, custom development, intuitive user experiences, and ITSM, with AI and automation opportunities valued.

You will design and implement ITSM capabilities, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and CMDB, while collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering ServiceNow solutions.
• Strong hands-on development including ITSM modules.
• Ability to build secure API integrations (REST/SOAP) and automate processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform enhancements
• Build secure, reliable integrations using REST, SOAP, webhooks, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and related technologies
• Develop scripted REST APIs, business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer workflows
• Configure and extend ITSM capabilities (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog, CMDB)
• Create intuitive experiences across Employee Center, Service Portal, workspaces, forms, catalogs, and mobile
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot complex platform, integration, data, and performance issues
• Apply development standards, security controls, automated testing, code review, source control, and release-management practices
• Develop reusable components and documentation; support upgrades and releases; evaluate AI and automation opportunities
