Eliassen Group is seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Architect in Raleigh, NC for designing, implementing, governing, and maintaining the CMDB as the source of truth for ITSM. The role leads architecture aligned to CSDM, drives discovery and data population across cloud and data center environments, and sets governance with data quality controls.

The position requires hands-on build, discovery tuning, integrations, and health monitoring, with hybrid work and flexibility for remote work as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with deep CMDB experience.
• 4+ years with ServiceNow CMDB and architecture on full lifecycle.
• Hands-on configuration, discovery, integrations, and troubleshooting in ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Own the ServiceNow CMDB, including architecture, governance, data quality, and hands-on development and administration.
• Establish CMDB governance, data standards, and processes to maintain accurate, reliable information.
• Finalize services, service owners, support groups, and service mappings.
• Assess the implementation partner’s work, take ownership of the CMDB, and build a roadmap for continued improvement.
• Execute CMDB configuration, Discovery tuning, development, integrations, troubleshooting, and data quality improvements.
• Work with service owners and technical teams; communicate priorities, progress, and CMDB health to leadership.

Our client seeks a ServiceNow CMDB Architect to design, implement, govern, and maintain the CMDB as the source of truth for ITSM processes. The role will own CMDB architecture aligned to CSDM, drive discovery and data population across cloud and data center environments, establish governance and data quality, and integrate with Incident, Problem, Change, and related processes. The engagement requires an architect-level practitioner who defines the roadmap and executes hands-on build, discovery tuning, integrations, identification and reconciliation rules, and health monitoring. The position offers hybrid work with openness to remote candidates as needed.

Rate: $85.00 to $95.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Own the ServiceNow CMDB, including architecture, governance, data quality, and hands-on development and administration.
• Establish CMDB governance, data standards, and processes to maintain accurate, reliable information.

• Personally execute CMDB configuration, Discovery tuning, development, integrations, troubleshooting, and data quality improvements across data center and cloud environments.
• Work directly with service owners and technical teams; communicate priorities, progress, and CMDB health to leadership.

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years with ServiceNow CMDB and recent, in-depth ServiceNow CMDB architecture experience on at least one full lifecycle implementation..
• Strong hands-on skills in CMDB configuration, Discovery, integrations, and troubleshooting using current ServiceNow tools.
• Hands-on ServiceNow development and scripting skills, including JavaScript, REST API integrations, and importing and transforming CMDB data.\
