Job summary

Boutique Recruiting represents a established equipment manufacturer in the greater Boston area seeking a Service Supervisor to lead a six-person service team and own daily operations. You will troubleshoot, coordinate repairs, and ensure top-quality testing before customer delivery.

The ideal candidate has hands-on heavy equipment experience, strong hydraulic knowledge, and proven leadership. CDL Class B is preferred or willing to obtain it, with strong communication and organizational skills

Qualifications

• 5-10 years with heavy/mechanical equipment or related service environment.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge.
• CDL Class B or able and willing to obtain one with company support.
• Comfortable testing large equipment and working at heights when required.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to lead a team and coordinate with customers and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service department operations and supervise a team of six technicians.
• Assign repair work, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely, accurate service delivery.
• Schedule repairs, respond to service calls, and provide ongoing support to customers.
• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues and assist technicians with troubleshooting.
• Test equipment to verify repairs before customer delivery.
• Coordinate with production on final preparation, testing, and delivery of new equipment.
• Prepare repair work orders and maintain shop supply levels with purchasing.
