Job summary

Columbus Equipment Company is seeking a Service Supervisor to drive customer satisfaction and profitability within the service department. The role involves communicating with customers, resolving disputes, and ensuring timely invoicing with support staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, 3+ years in earth-moving equipment service, and solid computer skills. DOT drug testing and background checks are required, with focus on technician productivity and safety.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience with earth moving equipment parts and service in a customer contact position.
• Proven track record in customer satisfaction.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Must pass Pre-Employment Criminal Background screening and DOT Drug Test.

Responsibilities

• The Service Supervisor is responsible for customer satisfaction and overall profitability within the service department's areas of responsibility.
• Candidate communicates with customers and ethically resolves disputes keeping the customer and company's interest in mind.
• The Service Supervisor is responsible for timely paperwork flow keeping work in process as low as possible.
• With assistance from the support staff, the Service Supervisor provides timely and accurate invoices to customers.
• He/she is also responsible for the human resources within the department, with a focus of maintaining a high level of technician productivity, efficiency, and safety.
• The individual recommends and oversees replacement and repair of internal physical assets.
