Job summary

Komatsu Company Owned Distributor East in Hatfield, PA, seeks a Service Supervisor to oversee shop and field repairs, maintenance, and testing of heavy equipment. You will direct troubleshooting, inspections, and ensure timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school degree; some college preferred.
• Experience in heavy equipment construction or mining.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and structural know-how.
• Knowledge of Komatsu products and testing.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains repair schedules for all personnel.
• Creates the work orders and oversees parts ordering and invoicing.
• Maintains communication with customers on estimates, scheduling, and dates.
• Receives, pre-delivery, and maintains condition of new and rental equipment.
• Provides repair estimates and scheduling for the Sales Dept.
• Coordinates with outside vendors and manufacturer personnel for repairs.
• Maintains shops, bays, tools, and safety/cleanliness.
• Maintains the Specialized Tooling condition and updates.
• Handles failed parts removed from machines per guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
